It's funny how nobody thinks that their parents will be at home during the apocalypse. Also it's a bit far fetched to think that you'll have machine guns etc in a zombie Apocalypse. You'll just have to improvise with objects which can be found in the house first. Finally,the best defense is attack! If you're intelligent, you'll try to find a boat and travel by the sea or rivers since zombies can't swim.
