How can "the mask" ever be defeated?Should I try till I don't encounter it?At least make it seem beatable. It's very annoyng.

It won't work. It keeps getting stuck on some stupid screen with the sword PNG and that's it. It will let me play, but the game doesn't seem to load correctly and I can't see what I'm doing.
